Due to high cost of balLs out here normally only use the re-played ones, half price and cant see any real difference when I get to play with new ones .

Go for it try some.

Some will be refurbs which are crud, the paint will look great until you hit it with a wedge then it starts crumbling like a kinder egg.

If you want 3 piece balls, why not try the dx3s? These are available local to me at £17 a dozen and there was an offer of buy 2 doz get 1 doz free so less than £1 a ball.

You can get 24 reclaimed ProV1/Xs from Direct Golf for £11 at the moment. I bought 48 thinking that I can use them to practice with or whatever, but a good 35 of them are good enough for the course.

Buy the reclaimed balls,i'd much rather play with them than a cheap 2 piece.I've had hundreds of reclaimed Pro V's over the years and can't remember ever having to bin any.
Stay well clear of refurbs though.
