Craw,it would be no different if it had been at Loch Lomond,it can be a midden in July,the last 3 years I have been there it has been 'damp' so wouldn't fancy it in October.My mate who's a greeny went there to look at the ultra expensive drainage that was put in and it was mid October and he said it was clatching.Turnberry though would be a different matter,they would be pegging it up for the foursomes as I type if it was played on a real golf course but money talks all day long sadly.
