really very wet indeed!

believe me, any course (links included) would have become unplayable after this amount of rain. I have
never seen anything like it in my life. The real people who need to be looking at themselves is the PGA Tour for forcing the event back two weeks due to the Fed-Ex play offs

Here, Here. The rain was biblical, no course could have withstood the amount that came down. I left at 1-30 because I live close and will be back for the last two days so gave up the ghost.

I have read a fair bit on here from people slagging of where it was being played, doesn't it rain anywhere else ?
Take alook at some of the previous highlights, it rained in Spain and the K Club so it's not just Wales.

The rain was unbelievable, I've nver been to Celtic before so can't comment on how it drains but I think any course would have struggled today. I left at 1 as the hospitality areas were rammed and there was no way there would be any golf before 5.

I was in the stand at the first tee and the atmosphere was incredible, Poulter milking it and the singing of "there's only 2 Molinaris" was fantastic.

I found it funny when the Yanks pyjama bottoms were leaking.
They had to go and buy "REAL" waterproof trousers from the shop.

Those outfits were rediculous and looked like they borrowed them from the USA Olympic basketball team.

They looked more like shell suits, they should've put the Rory wigs on and they could've passed as Scousers from the Harry Enfield shows, (Calm down, calm down)

Well I was there with Imurg and we stayed till the end (a coin toss at 1.30 the deciding factor)

We spoke to several members of the ground staff, who all said that if it stops raining, there would be play an hour later.

NO COURSE could cope with what we saw yeaterday, the drainage worked and when the deluge stopped we say 2 hours of play.

Witnessing 2 Poulter induced crowd Roars was worth the price of a ticket.

The only thing wrong with the venue (Which looked supurb)
was that they didnt have enough facilities to occupy 40000 people for 7 hours. (But then again, who has?)

totally totally agree with you homer. ive been saying this for a couple of years down at the club and im usually drowned out by the cries of "dont talk crap" and "bo*^&cks" but its absolutely true. the corporate yanks dont have a lot of respect for the ryder cup because they simply cant fathom a tournament with no prize money, its completely alien to them.
