How jealous am I. Not picked up a club in 3 weeks due to weather and not going to be able to play this weekend due to family commitments. Really getting withdrawal symptoms now and the sunny weather outside is not helping

HTL you won't want to hear that I'm playing in the morning with my normal crew and in a 4 ball better ball event on Sunday and the weather looking fair. I hope you can at least get to the range before next weekend.

Not ready at all for a while.

HID has had a shoulder operation and is currently feet up in front of the fire with a cuppa and a book.

So certainly for a week or two golf has to take a rest so i can get her back on her feet and back to work to earn the money that means I can play golf.

Just as the weather's getting better. Ah well I can look forward to it.........

I had a great game today at Largs, course was really in good nick. We had a smashing nip and tuck game which finished all square with Colin holing a 30 footer up and across the slope on the 18th for a birdie 3 which sealed the half when my 18 footer slipped by about 2 inches too high.

Weather was ideal very very slight breeze, chilly but not a problem if you kept moving.
