Afternoon all

If anyone would like to try out Scoresaver 2 and take part in the reader test panel for the Feb issue please send me an email at paul_o'hagan@ipcmedia.com

This needs to be someone who plans on playing a few rounds in the next three weeks, has access to a PC (sorry no Macs) and has not appeared in the test panel in the last 3 issues.

Thanks

Paul

I'll do it, I did have the software for a month trial and do still intend to purchase it when funds permit (I'm saving up for a skycaddie sg5 at the moment, and am about to buy some new wedges both which have taken current priority over spare change!) but if you wish me to conduct a full test I am more than happy to comply, having never been chosen to test anything despite signing up originally. :D I will now send an email.

When I started reading this, I thought, TEST SOMETHING? Im up for that, only to be dashed as I read the posts seeing a beginner is needed. B****r! just my luck.lol.

If you would like anything else testing I am often available. :D

Thanks for putting my name forward guys.....I am a big fan of Scoresaver 2 as you know.

However, yes, I'm on a Mac now so can't run it natively without an emulator...and I'm playing about once every 2 months at the moment it seems.

While I still had my Windows licence I ran it on my Mac via the VMFusion emulator without any problems at all, just like on a PC. Don't have my windows licence any more so I'm goosed.

Will be good to hear what a new user thinks of it. I'm wanting Andy (SS2) to make a version you can use on the iPhone! :D

Yup, I've got that, makes sense...... :D

My old PC died, Dave, and it was an OEM (?) version of Windows installed.... basically I couldn't transport Windows to another PC. When I got the Mac I did get 30 days use of Windows onto my Mac by using the VmWare Fusion thingy SS2 suggested as a trial. Basically the program works perfectly but there was an added cost element in that I would have had to buy Windows for my Mac AND the VMWare software. It just wasn't economical so I'm back to pen and pencil! Missing it, though. Hope that explains it.
