I'm currently using mizzy mx25's with dynamic gold SL shafts in reg. I need a bit more help from my shafts than these give me. Do I reshaft with the Nippon 950 for example which has a lighter weight and more kick or do I get fitted for new irons like the mizzy jpx or jpx pro's and see what shafts they recommend? The reshaft will save £250.00 over new bats and the heads are great in my existing rackets.

Bit of a No-brainer if you ask me.
You could go for a fitting, see which shaft they recommend and take it from there, but if you like the MX25 head and the NS shaft will work then I'd go for that and save the 250 quid to help replace that R11... :D :D :D :D :D :D

Nothing wrong with MX25 heads for sure. So re-shafting is the cheaper option, and if you've found shafts you like then even better.

One word of caution is do you know how that shaft performs when an MX25 head is stuck on the end of it? Balance, weighting etc may be different?

I'll contact mizzy first mate and ask their opinion before doing anything, Shiney new is a last option really I think the mx25 heads are really nice.

I wouldn't spend £250 to end up with a set you couldn't sell for £150.

Go get fitted somewhere and if the prescription isn't too exotic, look out for a second hand set that fits the spec.

The resale cost isn't an issue Ethan, if it works out to be the right move they'll stay in the bag for a good few years. I like the clubs but I think a new engine will help my game.
Thanks for your input though it is always valued. I always hope you or Bob will show up when I post a query like this one.
