I love the heads of my current irons.
But the shafts just aren't right
They're TT GS95 S300 - lightweight, high launching and high spinning... I can use them but I know I'm losing distance and accuracy.
So do I go down the route of working out which shaft is right for me ( DGS300 but lighter should do the trick) and reshafting or do I just go and get fitted for new sticks...?
The heads are the Callaway Legacy Black V that Stensen uses, forged cavity that look and feel great.
Reshafting is going to cost a couple of hundred+, I could sell them as they are and add that 200+, add a touch more and have something new....
Trouble is I've always wanted a set of the Legacy's...

What to do...what to do...

Reshaft.

Only reason I swapped from my Mizuno to the Cleveland 588CB was cheaper than reshaftng.

That and the Cleveland are pukka

Have you considered wooden shafts ?

What about used Shafts Murg.
I bought the heads of my Mizzys here at home for €50 and went on flea bag and bought my INS Tour shafts from a chap in England for a nice some of €140 delivered to my door.
Their also black. You should see the looks I get when I pull them out in front of people I rarely play with. Everyone thinks their graphite. 😂😂😂

So many good iron sets out there imurg, if you aren't happy with the shaft sell them on and get another set, no point spending couple hundred quid on shafts that you may not like either once fitted.

Get them restarted by a proper club builder. It will be worth it. I spent an hour with one recently, in his work shop, and the things he showed me were a real eye opener. He isn't expensive, and you would end up with the perfect set of irons, built for you, to much closer tolerance than the OEMs will do.
If you want I can pm you his details. I think Alex went to see him once too.
