ok what are everyone thoughts on this. Nothing in particular. Just anything about it

Also a question if I may. It says the winner gets a 7 year tour exemption. What does this mean? He won't have to qualify through the tour for 7 years? He fan just rock up?

I guess that is what it means, but it is irrelevant, as if you can win the order of merit, I guess you are not going to be worried about qualifying any way.

My view on the RtD is that I don't care. It brings more money in, but the title is daft. It changes the season in the long term to a Jan to Jan season, which makes more sense to me, but I suppose doesn't really make a difference.

The Race to Dubai is in most aspects a rebranding of the Order of Merit Vardon trophy. It provides the European Tour with an opportunity to reinvent itself with a different set of huge rewards for the winner. One way of looking at it is Dubai = £££/$$$/€€€ so the organisers are shrewd in suggesting that the prize is going to be exceptional when linked to the location; not forgetting, of course, the glory amongst your peers and the rest of the golfing world.

As I understand it, a 7 year exemption means that no matter where the player finishes in the next seven 'seasons' they will not need to re-establish their playing rights through Q-school.
