R9 Drivers, 2 types?

The time has come to replace my R5 driver.

I have had a quick hit with the R9 Tri speed, G15 and D2.

The D2 and G15 I didn't get on with whereas the Trispeed I did straight away.

Question is am I right in thinking there are two R9 trispeed drivers out there to purchase?

Whats the main difference between the two I see the TP is £100 more??

The tp has lower launching properties such has shaft, head shape and will be easier to work the ball

Thanks Steve, to be honest I play off 11 and I am not to concearned about working the ball an awful lot. I would be happy with a straight driver

So on this reckoning the cheaper tri speed should be fine?

I will try a few shafts as well

I find that TM drivers tend to balloon, maybe its just me.

Why not try the PING I15, Mizuno MP630 & Fast Track, Callaway FT9 etc. Its an awful lot of money to spend without sampling the market.

Just my thoughts.

If you can try a Taylor Made Superquad then I suggest you do. Best driver I've ever had, doubt I'll ever change it.
