R9 460 vs R11 Anyone ?

If if was a flat £100 I'm not sure I'd be interested. But if you getting what looks like £60-70 of stuff as well then It's tempting, it's only ~50 miles from me.

Even if I don't buy.

I assume if you choose not to buy then there are no extra charges ?

Nope, £100 for the 2 hour fit, dozen Penta balls, Adidas Wentworth Polo and full 360 degree motion capture analysis of your swing (which they give you to take away on DVD so you can take a look in your own time, show it to your pro etc..etc..)

i have a super tri. used the r11 yesterday with pretty much identical results. the r11 does look one sexy beast though

If you pay £100 for a two hour session do they just do the driver or do they do the whole bag as well ?
Eg loft and lie check - recommend increase loft here or de loft there ?
And if you get that stuff thrown in as well - Are you sure normal paying mortals get that ?

Just the driver (full bag is an extra £100, something I wouldn't do) and yes, normal paying mortals get all the stuff thrown in.

Steve\Aztecs

when they fitted you did they just try the standard fujikura blur shafts. Or did they try other shafts options as well ?

I was just looking on the TM website and they don't list any custom shaft options.

Fujikara, but this was because, I believe, they didn't have the stock available yet. There are definitely custom shaft options, even more so if you go for the TP version.

To be honest i think i would rather pay £100 and just get my irons all checked. On a normal course you can hit driver say 14 times tops ?
20 yards is a big difference though and if ihad the money i would love a whole session.
£100 i could blag - £200 and HID would be after blood.

When you got your Mizzys did you get fitted for those ?
If you did did you got Wrexham or is there a place nearer you ?

Do you mean get your current irons checked or a new set?

Nope, as I bought them second hand. I do plan on getting them retro-fitted at a Mizzy fitting centre (probably not the National one) at some stage though. Just gotta have the readies and time to do so.

I had my R9 TP's fitted at a golf hsop in Solihull but i am guessing a session with these TM guys could teach you a whole lot more - They may say they are bang on but it would be worth it just to know what they think about their own clubs etc
