I have a pretty good memory for my rounds but that line of questioning is ridiculous. I don't expect anyone to be able to remember how many times they took a drop or looked for a ball in their last five rounds! I've just guessed at all of them.

I gave up when it asked how often I searched for a ball for longer than one minute in my last 5 rounds.
I mean, how can they expect to get an answer that is anything but a complete guess? I'd be more confident if they just gave you the option of "A lot"

Do you not record the minutiae of every round?
Like how many times you ignored a playing partner breaking a rule, and what the rule was that was broken?
Or how many drops you'd taken from hazards?
I hope my invaluable input will be used to further confuse the average golfer with some new or revised nonsensical rules.

Not too much hassle. Easy to fudge when the brain does not record the sort of detail they are looking for.

If you're unable to give an answer to one or more of the questions because you can't remember so you guess....then the results will be skewed and the survey a complete waste of time and effort..

I don't know how many provisionals I've played in the last five rounds, so I estimated it. It's not an exam, they don't know the 'right' answer either. Just take a guess.

At least that was one of the easier Q's, I don't think i've hit a provisional in more than 10 rounds (doesn't mean every ball is always in play, just means provisional either wasn't needed or would be pointless)

Sorry to change the subject matter but I did not want to start a new thread and it relates to The R and A App which I have downloaded.
I wanted to know something about PCC calculation and was quoted Rule 5.6 but it was not in the R and A app but found it on a Google AI search.
Is there another rule book where I can find this information and is there a Randa app?
