Hi guys,
Just a quick update, as i have one month off because my exams are finished
i have had golfing time. I went out for a round on wednesday. LOng story short i ended up playing with the guy that had arranged the BAG ( british army germany) matchplay/stableford championship the day before it started. A guy had dropped out so there was an empty tee and luckily he let me join even though i am not in the Army! Happy Days ! It was a 2 day comp and it started yesterday morning. Basically we all played off scratch for the first 18. The top 16 competed in a matchplay knockout. So basically the low handicappers filled these spots. So like most i was in the stableford competition!
First round i scored 30 points. Awful play! In the Afternoon it hammered it down but i managed to hold it for 36 points. This morning it was very windy and the highest score was 37. I made 36 points again!
First place was 107 points, second 104 and i came 3rd with 102!!!
I won nearest the pin on hole 6 as seen here:

The pin was at the top tier. 190m crosswind. to 2m.80cm....
I won 12 titleist dt solo for that.
For the third place in the stableford i won 12 pro v1's!!!
Not a bad 2 days for 15euro. I nearly missed todays round...
We had to be at the course at 7.30. I was getting picked up at 7:00... My alarm went off and it said 7:00!!!! I put my trousers and shirt on, grabbed my belt and ran out of the door.... 7:05!!! Just made it!
