Quick question... Heading the airport in a couple of hours!

Hi Guys,

Im off to Fuerteventura with the missus but as its my birthday I have hinted I am looking to get a couple of rounds in... I have packed my golfshoes and glove but cant really take my clubs... Am I right in thinking I will be able to hire clubs out there? My clubs are a +1 inch as im tall but im sure for the sake of a round in the gorgeous heat I can play with hired clubs...


Also im not a member and am I going to get turned away for not being a member/having an official handicap? I dont really want to drive round the island only to find out I will be turned away like a stray dog![/SUB]

Hi. I think you can hire from the course and they never checked our handicaps. Don't both with La Salinas as the Fuerteventura Course is much nicer. Get the hotel to book your tee times as it will be cheaper. You'll be paired up with others I would think and of any nationality!

Just checked their web and it is 30 euros to hire a set but not sure what they'll be.

It's under "Services" and not cheap. We rented a villa so got visitors rates of 45 euros but otherwise it is 63 or 73 euros a round.
