question for the GM Technical team, (The other one)

I had a cheap pair of Adidas football boots that lasted 5 years. They looked exactly like the did the day I got them. The only thing that prompted me to buy a new pair was the insole was starting to wear.

I am in the process of returning a pair of Adidas copa Mundial. The stitching has come away on one of the stripes and the sole is coming off the front of both boots. Worn about 7 times .

Scenario 1 - You wore through your nice Adidas tracksuit bottoms, through bench splinters.

Scenario 2 - Your now getting a game, as fortuitously, fat jimmy and Larry the lame are both injured at the same time.;)

Admittedly the soles may have come away from hitting the shots fat :o

Its not like I hadn't mis hit a shot with the old boots. They held up rightly.

Think one of the biggest things being highlighted is consistency of experience.

My Hillman is going strong although did have a failure within the first year and got replaced. Several others have had it break etc. More than likely a higher failure rate than the bigger brands. I got lucky but surely paying a little more to reduce the need for luck is a good enough reason to do so.
