I'd doubt it has anything to do with CF.

Decelerating into the ball is the worst sin of a poor putter.

How do I know ? Because I am that soldier !

You'd be surprised.

If the putter is actually the wrong length and lie it makes making a consistent stroke very hard. My putting improved noticeably after just 2 hours or so with a C/F putter.

My line is better and so is my distance....simples......

In the old days I'd do 4-5 hours putting a week and get virtually nowhere...... :)

We KNOW it makes sense, but some of us are just addicted to buying new and pointless putters and avoid the obvious.....

Dave, for some people a custom fit will help lots, for others it wont, so each to their own.
In my opinion, if you can putt, you can putt with anything.
Sure, the lie, length and weight of the putter do affect the way you swing it. I know its good to buy a shiny new putter every now and then but at the end of the day, a new putter isnt going to alter your putting stroke too much.
If you have a fault in your swing, buying a new putter for £100- £200 isnt going to make you a better putter.
A £15 putting lesson WILL :D

Martin Moor Golf Club, Lincolnshire.

Or send me a video of your putting stroke :D

Look, I can't afford to move up there, so you'll have to move down here, ok.

If there are any courses down here you fancy working at, we'll, *cough*, see if the incumbent pro is expecting any, ummmm, 'accidents' in the foreseeable future, ;)

Just think what you could look forward to :

Sun
Sea
Sand
Smiffy

Ok, maybe not such a great idea then. :D

Agreed.

The O.P. said his pro felt the swing was OK, as was mine.
Narrow down the margins and do both....
