I have been working on my putting over the last 2 days and I have discovered that my accuracy and weight have improved markedly by allowing myself a small hip and knee movement. My question is should I be doing this even though I have seen an improvement?

Opinions please.....

You do what ever is needed to get result you needed. You could do the Hokey Cokey as you swing if it works.

They say that only your arms should move , the real test will be when you play a medal , I have used a putting mirror in the past and when I was practicing all the time with it I had my best putting season in 2012 so much the club pro and other golfers at my old club were talking about my putting , must go back to that again now I have more time ................but as Phil says , putting is a stroke that if it works no matter how you go about it then stick with it as it works for you and that's the only thing that matters ..................EYG

If it works stick with it. If I had to stand on one leg and whistle a tune to get the ball in the hole I would. In fact I would do anything to guarantee the ball would go in the hole.
