I am 5 '7" tall and have cut all but my current putter down to 32" which feels right for me. My current Yes putter is still 34" and having seen a number of players putting with bent arms which I am trying at the moment rather than cut it down immediatly.

I have been wondering what length of putter others use for their height?

I'm a short arse at 5'6", I use a 34".

The current putter i'm using was a belly putter until I cut it down recently, the weight is superb because of the heavier head belly putters have. I never find the length causes me to put with bent arms as i find by allowing my arms to hang naturally and relaxed at address allows to be straight but free from tension, if I went with a shorter putter I'd be bending over the ball to much and cause to much strain on my back

I'm 5'9" and have just moved from a 33" to a 34" putter and find it suits me better. My posture with the 33" meant I was hunched over quite a bit, where as the 34 just feels a lot more natural.

Why are you trying to putt with bent arms?

While waiting for new grip and having seen others putting without having their arms straight, so I have tried it. Second hand putters always seem to be std. 34/35" long, not everyone can be tall.

Are your elbows tucked in to your body or do they stick out to the side?
