I usually use a carry bag but if I have a comp or playing 18 holes and need waterproofs, drinks etc then I use my bigger rigid bag with an old 2 wheel trolley.

I find the old 2 wheel trolleys quite heavy and not that great to use.

I did think about an electric trolley but they are £300+ and people constantly seem to have problems with them.

Does anyone use the 3 wheel push trolleys?

They seem to be a good compromise and a lot cheaper. My course isn't that hilly so it should be quite light to push

yeah go it for it mate, i got one last year motocaddy slightly used for £50 its top notch exactly same as S1 barring the battery.

few other options too but loads easy than a 2 wheel pull trolley.

i had intended to upgrade to electric version but havent felt the need well happy with the push version.

I have a 3 wheeled Golf Locker Push Trolley, cost me £75 from Direct Golf. Nice and easy to use around my course which has some big hills on the front 9. Well priced as well compared to some others, the only thing I can see some of the more expensive varieties have over it, is that they fold down a little smaller than mine.

Would still recommend it though.

I found pushing harder than carrying. I had a twinline 3 and it was more of a pain than it was worth. But I'll be buying a electric trolley for next year. Summer and carrying don't really end well.( very sweaty patches on shirts is not a good look)

Powacaddy Twinline 3 here as well and another fan. Small issue would be that the scorecard holder thing can get in the way of taking clubs from the bottom section of the bag. Other than that extremely good trolley and if your course is flat it'll be nae bother to push.

I have a 3 wheel push / pull trolley. It folds down nicely and the wheels come off for boot storage. I'm very happy with it and wouldn't spend £200+ on an electric one until my one falls apart!

I would like a clicgear but they cost a lot! I am in the market for one though as the battery is dead on my Powakaddy.

They look the business, especially the orange one. Not sure about the price tag though not far off that of an electric trolley

Yep but your never going to buy a battery again... they are £80 odd and only last a couple of years.

I would get a Clicgear trolley if they were more reasonably priced. I did have an electric trolley once but it was a pain to lug around and charge the battery etc. I used it about twice I think.

Prefer to carry in general terms..

Got me a ClicGear... Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny I believe...
Think they're built to last a lifetime... Friends have the Powakaddy [push cart] which folds up a tad smaller and lighter to lift in and out of the car but I don't think they are quite as 'substantial'...

Couldn't be asked with all the hassle of maintaining an electric trolley...

Would still prefer to carry but ill health/arthritus has put paid to that...

I've just had an email off AG saying they have a sale on at the min with the powerbug sport 18 hole trolley its now £199 down from £299. I'm tempted by it. My mother uses a powerbug and hasnt had any issues with it, shes had it about 3years now.

i had a powakaddy electric now just changed to the motocaddy s3 pro and its an amazing bit if kit!!! never go back to push/pull trolleys now makes you fell less fatigued ive found and improved on my scores, maybe the trolley hasnt done that but coincedence hmmm i dont know lol

I have a PK twinline 3 (excellent) and a Powerbug electric.

Mostly, around mine I use "power assistance" 'cause it's really rather hilly.

As a compromise and for ease of use, a good push trolley can't be beaten.

My Powerbug was under £200 and I said from the outset if I only got 40 games out of it, I'd be happy. (£5 a game)
Must be on comfortably over 100 and still going strong. No dodgy battery or wayward steering or noisy parts. Brilliant.
