Callaway Ft-3 10*

Wanted 11, but that's only nit-picking.

£129 AG.

Also, a mallet putter (cheap TB3 Nicklaus), so long the days of wafting those long 'uns. Much improved from long range.

Yes, I'm beginning to think I made a duff call with getting a cheap MD EQL to replace my 3I. Don't get me wrong, it's a great club and I've hit some corkers, but the odd one goes way right....much worse than any other club (including my driver). It won't get my vote for best purchase...nor will yellow brush tees, good idea, but not high enough for a 460cc.

Has to be the £30 I paid for my Odyssey 2 ball 48" long putter off of Ebay.

Haulted the handicap slide and now heading back in the right direction again. Finished the season at 4.5 started at 5.3. Want to try for 3 this year, been 4 plenty of times but never lower, its amazing the confidence that holing a few putts gives

Happy Birthday Toad! just noticed. Not surprised you are enjoying the G10.
£30 for an odyssey...not bad. (thecraw)

I finaly bagged a putter off ebay (1st purchase), it was a close run thing, Paypal only verified my account 2 hrs earlier (took a week!!!) and I put in a high bid and went out for a few drinks. Got it!

Not to everyone's liking (Bobby Grace "the fat lady swings" putter)....but i.i.r.c. it's a classy item, still retails for over $100 in the states. Got it NEW for £35 + p&p.

Here's hoping a) it arrives this year! and b) it's a genuine new item. I tried one once many years ago and loved it....even more than the Craz-e I've been hankering for.

Got to say the best purchase has to be my Cobra Baffler. A close run thing would be my golf lessons. Money well spent as my handicap has dropped from 20 to 14 since May.

Have to say the best freebie I got all year was the Ben Hogan Apex 56 degree sand wedge from MikeH and the GM crew when my blog was published (cheers for that). My bunker play has improved significantly from dire to the bad side of mediocre!!! It is actually a very good club especially from 70 yard in and around the green

Golf club memebership in Roganstown Swords Co Dublin beautiful course designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr.

Secondly my electric trolley-techinally it was a birthday present from "She who must be obeyed" but great for reducing fatigue caused by pulling a normal trolley.

I picked up a new trolley last weekend, stuck a new energygolf pro 28 model (same as upper range powakaddy), after 18 holes it was still pulling like a train.
