Pull, Push or Carry?

I mostly carry, but have a powwakaddy for comps and matches. I do like the pk, as i walk off and feel like i could play another 18.
But I also enjoy carrying, 18 holes carrying, my bag is loaded but witha good double strap its not too bad!!

If you are strugglin to carry, try and save for a pk, or a pk push with 3 wheels, not sure of the correct name, but a friens uses one and has disregarded his electric as says the push one is handier!

I have a pull trolley and carry bag and change as I feel, used to use trolley through the winter as more gear to lug etc. This year I have only carried as my course has trolley routes etc and the line near greens for no trolleys and ended up walking twice as far! Also as started to carry had a good clean out of bag and all the gumpf that was in it, I had a bout 50 balls! Even I'm not that bad to get through that lot!

I use a 'leccy 'cos I'm an old fart. I used to love carrying when I was a bit younger, always turned the offer of a buggy/trolley down as I wanted to "smell the roses" on the way around and will agree that carrying does give you a lot more freedom on the course. But unfortunately, none of us can stop the ravages of time.
If I were 20 years younger I'd still be carrying.
From what I've seen, given the choice of a push or pull cart only, I'd be looking at a "pusher".
But I was luckily able to afford a 'leccy at the time of purchase so went for it, and love it.

I carry & I'm the only female left at my club that does! I definitely feel I am getting more out of the round by carrying. Only use a push trolley for the 36 hole championship day.

Welcome to the forum , I live just round the corner from your course.

Pull. I don't see the point carrying and putting that extra little bit of strain on my back and shoulders when I'm playing a sport that needs them to be in good nick.

i bought the powerkaddy twinline 3 push trolley about 4 weeks ago now and i can honestly say i love it, easy to push around i feel fresh after playing a round. It is all down to personal preference to what you want to do push pull or carry.

I do have a lightweight stand bag and sometimes i go through a spell where i feel like carrying my clubs but at the min im more than happy with my new trolley!!!

I'll carry for 18 and in decent weather - not if I have to pack a load of raingear etc. In summer it's always in the boot for a fast start on a twilight round.

Otherwise it's electric (off ebay for less than a Twinline!).

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that if carrying is hurting your shoulders now it always will.
I started off carrying and always ended up with my shoulders hurting, but there's not a lot of meat on me. The extra weight doesn't make me any more tired (I don't think) after the round or towards the end of it, but my shoulders always hurt before the end of the front 9.

I tried using a pull trolley and found that was much worse. After a couple of hills, pulling the trolley whilst twisting slightly behind you to hold it had my calves on fire.

You may be more athletic than me and be fine with it, but given your choices, in order, I would push then carry then pull a very distant third.

Carry in the winter and leccy trolley in the summer for me, but if i'm only playing 10 holes in the summer i will carry instead of faffing about putting the cart together.

I actually enjoy carrying but cant be bothered in the hot weather.
