I carry at the mo but find my shoulders ache like a good un after about 14/15 holes and the swing gets a bit tired also had plate/pins/bone graft in right collar bone years ago and it aches big time during and afterwards.

I want to get a trolley but not sure whether to go for a decent push one or a cheapo pull or just stick to carrying as I am new to golf and will get fitter, easier the more I play

looking at a powakaddy twinline3 as the push option. wont buy electric as not old enough yet ;)

what do you reckon?

What size of a bag and contents are you carrying? I use a standbag and today it was loaded with windbreakers etc. Usually it is a little lighter though I did used to carry a tourbag but wised up! haha.

there isnt an age limit on electric trollys i love mine no pulling no pushing just walk along side fresh as a daisy every shoit you hit

ok, budget also depicts hence why electric is out (didnt want to be deemed a peasant haha)

I carry a callaway standbag, 14 clubs and waterproofs in it so not overly heavy

just like the idea of having a trolley, pull club out, hit, put club back and carry on.

Bloody golf and all this equipment teasing me to buy grrr ;)

I've had a pull trolley, push trolley and now carry.

Since you've ruled electric out i'd suggest you invest in a push trolley. The twinline 3 is arguably the best push trolley out there and i've still got mine. I still use it when im a bit run down on going on a long course. Pull trolleys are cheap but the push trolleys are so so much better, don't be cheap as youll probably have to buy 2 pull ones in the time the PK would last.

I move between carrying and my trolley.
I love to carry, just for the convinience but I get bad knees.
The problem I have with my Elec trolley is I get bad clatter on my clubs. Another option is I buy a bag with more dividers in so hopefully that cures it.

I think carrying is my preferred option.

I have a push trolley, which I used for 6 months. I bought a carry bag and haven't touched the trolley since. I will be carrying all season. I enjoy the freedom that the bag gives you. I feel less tired while carrying too.
Our course is very hilly too.

i carry and have an electric trolley. i sometimes play 36 holes in the summer and the trolley is very handy then also we have a 4-day comp called the silver thane and 4 days golf carrying can be tiring on the back and legs. i've had an electric trolley for 2 years and i'm only 22:P

You get tired, therefore don't carry.
Too young for electric - your words - get a pusher.
Best pusher is the Twinline 3.
Get it and don't listen to anyone else!!!!

I have a twinline 3, and very smooth to push round. Use it more in the winter, when you need a big bag for all the waterproofs etc. Prefer to carry in the summer.

cheers folks for the honest feedback (as always)

the twinline 3 it is, I like the idea of having 14 dividers aswell, start a round with carry bag with clubs sorted end up with a pot pourri ;)

I have a slazenger cheapo push trolley. Does a good job for not much but does not fold down very small.
Some people will say that pulling can lead to a twinge in the back with that slight backwards turn all the while. I have found it much less tiring since changing from pulling.
I'm at an age where it would be acceptable to have an electric but haven't gone that way yet.
Can't afford one anyway ;) :p

Carry for me and I'm ancient :)
Jan carries alot too and would probably carry all the time if her back was up to it.

I carry & I'm the only female left at my club that does!

Welcome to the forum seaside girl from Bob and Jan (teegirl).
Nice to hear another lady carrying
