Pub Bands

Following on from the best live bands, bands you wished you'd seen etc what about pub bands. There still seems to be a decent amount of local bands playing pubs. I've not been out to pubs much in the last few months but there seems to be some live music at a few local pubs coming up. Do you "follow" a particular local band, just turn up and take pot luck, hate music in pubs (it's should be for drinking) or pick a pub specifically because of their music

Love live music in all it's forms. Stumbled across the wonderful Erin Harpe, at the Mishnish in Tobermory last week. If you like the blues you'll enjoy her classic guitar and vocal work. Accompanied by a bass Ukelele which is a first for me.

Yes Great pub, first time visit for us. Back home now after a week on Mull, including 36 holes in sunshine on Tobermory's spectacular and tricky wee 9-holer. Gorgeous
