prov1 and pro v1x users

It used to be easy to tell the difference and there was a big feel difference between the balls when they were marked 392 and 332.

Newer models they seem to have been getting closer and closer with the v1 getting more clicky and the v1x getting softer. The only thing I notice now is I tend to be straighter with the x.

Plenty of top quality balls out there other than the Pro V and Vx and at a better price. I use Bridgestone, Srixon and the Pro Vx and luckily have a load I've won or been bought so cost hasn't been an issue. The truth is I would be unable to tell any of them apart in a blind test so it begs the question how much do we buy out of brand loyalty and advertising
