When he was walking up to the 18th green I said to my missus "he's walking too fast". It seemed to me he was just wanting to get it over whatever the outcome.

Bad mistake overclubbing on the par 3

Hits a great drive but then as soon as he hit that short and keegan stiffed his I knew it was game over, especially when Henley chipped in to get the crowd going.

I don't think he overclubbed on the par 3, it's just he hit it too good and it cut through the wind. Bradley the shot before had 122mph ball speed and it barely made it over the water, Fleetwood's shot only had 118mph ball speed and at first I thought he was in the water. He's obviously knocked it down with less spin and it's just cut through.

I knew his chip back was too long straight away, we had just saw Day from the same position bump his into the ridge on the green and it trickled down to pin high. Fleetwood carried his over the ridge, as soon as I saw his landing spot I was thinking "don't go in the water".

Thankfully I didn’t see the celebration, I switched it off before his putt hit the bottom of the cup. Nothing against KB, I was just absolutely gutted for Tommy. Couldn’t bloody sleep for thinking about it!

It shows what a great guy he is when you scan social media, and you see pretty much everyone, including Americans, wanting him to win. Really hope he gets it done soon.
 
Fanny Sunnesson on the bag for Henrik Stenson this weekend at LIV Dallas - she's doing The Open with him as well - I suspect Sir Nick will seize the opportunity when asked to talk about Fanny, and turn it into an opportunity to talk about himself... 😉


Anyway, rough looks deep and the greens look quick at Mardioe - let's see how the scoring pans out.

I remember seeing Greg Norman giving an interview early in 1996 where he said "all Brits are chokers"
Then came the Masters where he started the final round with a 6 stroke lead . . . . .
