He's played in 18 of the last 19 majors; the only one he's missed in the last 5 years is last year's US Open.

I never actually relaised he had played in so many. What was his world ranking before LIV - I guess he got in on that

Niemann is a quality player and his career trajectory is prob very close to Hovland in terms of tour events - Hovland has managed to get himself some decent major performances under his belt - that’s the next step for Niemann .

There is potential for the two of them to be battling out for majors in the next decade - along with the likes of the Hojgaards

I am not sure both Hojgaards have the temperament. One does the other is a little fiery a la Hatton

It was a complete duff and then 4 of the 5 basically choked in the playoff. One of them only made par when putting for eagle from about 15 feet.
