Choked or not, Bryson had the cojones to front up and do media post-round (unlike the multiple times you-know-who flounced off in a fit of pique and refused) nor did he he snap his driver or rip his shirt

Bryson has his Phil MK2 man of the people image to uphold. Rory doesn’t.

Most rational thinking people couldn’t care less if a player does an interview after their round. Most of what they say is nonsense anyway.

The whole of liv’s marketing last week was on Bryson and his amazing distance. Whatever way you cut it, Bryson choked last week and at the masters. He was at the US Open too but Rory’s antics let him get away with it.

Spin and deflect however you want. It doesn’t change the facts.

I'm not a big fan of Bryson's but that's largely because I don't like his golf style aesthetically it looks angular and ugly.
I will readily concede that is my problem not his it's clearly a style that works very well indeed which is the point of sport, not aesthetics.
He certainly has had his moments of anger and poor behavior, blaming his club manufacturer getting annoyed with crowds etc.
Many pro sportsmen do have these moments, it's probably stressful and good luck to him going forward, still don't like his playing style though.

He is your standard US sportsman - marmite , a bit brash and loud at times , entertaining

Certainly better to watch than the likes of Koepka

It's remarkable hand eye coordination. The interesting thing is if he can maintain that long term. He wont have to be out by much for things to go wrong but at the moment there is no sign of that.

I think it could still be an interesting watch seeing as he hasn't crossed the line yet this year although he is playing well and looks to have got over his injury. If it becomes a procession I shall just watch a bit more LIV instead.

Yeah, even with 36 to go, they way he's playing and the near challengers, it looks forgone - but it is golf.

4 shots should also be enough for DeChambeau, but as mentioned his last 3 final rounds haven't gone so well. Think he'll hold things together this time, but some big number opportunities on that course.
