This was in the post round show yesterday.

These lads grafted to get to where they are, it's in their DNA, and that doesn't just dissipate away when you have some cash in the bank.

Apparently, the club for the number in metres is about right for the actual number in yards. For example, using the 180 metre club for a 180 yard shot is a good approximate adjustment.

Rahm grew up working in metres - he'll have a metreage and a yardage for every club in the same way he knows what the word for imbecile is in both Spanish and English.
So his club selection at altitude will simply be his club at that metreage for the actual yardage.
If you take the time to think about it, it's quite obvious.
And the Spanish word for imbecile is imbécil - one of the many thousands of words that are pretty much the same in English.

I use yards here in OZ which confuses most Aussies.....i tell them that my clubs only work in yards,

That was truly shocking. Though this major has been very poor overall, and could yet be won by a no-name who bogeyed their way into the playoff.
