Radar was suggesting a driver was the only option into the wind, but given how far he's whacked that through the fairway, I'm not sure why he couldn't have hit 3 wood.
I'm sure he will but he could play safer and easily win still. Driver brings an element of jeopardy

No, Id hand him the driver, and say carve it into the trees on the right.
Radar yesterday was talking about how excellent and controlled he was with 3 wood. That is why I mentioned it. He's hardly short with any club, is he?

He prob feels more comfortable with a driver - and especially into a cold wind
If he was 1 shot ahead then it probably would have been a stinger with a 2 iron
With 3 Shots he can smack it up there with safety on the right

I feel Jj caddy was also indecisive having 2 clubs in his hand.
Poor drives into the crowd on 18 and not a Fore in sight, poor from both players.

That was a very difficult shot TBFWatching a pro top it gives us all hope
I'm not a Rory hater, he just could have taken doubt out of the equation with that shot. He is likely to go on and win but it was an option that might have been worth taking. Academic now.
