I'm not a Rory hater, he just could have taken doubt out of the equation with that shot. He is likely to go on and win but it was an option that might have been worth taking. Academic now.

yeah, people will say it was easy with Spaun being so far over par in playoff BUT … birdie on 16 then pressure on hitting green on 17 was excellent and that’s what broke Spaun and made it easy.

Not sure you can blame the caddy. Both players had done their homework hitting into the same wind on trackman before they played.

Not sure that’s the caddy’s fault when from what they were saying they both practised the same shot with the wind on the trackman - Spauns shot didn’t get touched by the wind
