Prize giving: what to wear?

Got a prize giving this Saturday for coming second overall last Saturday in an open stroke como. Its at an away club. So what would you wear.

I would wear a jacket and tie myself if you have not been told otherwise. At the end of the day you can always take a jacket and tie off if you are overdressed. But you can't put it on if you do not have it with you.

Tbh i would probably do jacket & tie, if you don't have jacket at least a shirt and tie. As said above you can dress down easily. But you can't dress up as easily.

personally Id phone the club and ask what the dress code is/expectations are then dress accordingly. Have been at presentation evenings that have been black tie and at others that have been smart casual/golf attire
