Yep we have that. Gross is clearly club champ but as that opens the event up to about a dozen at most then the club has a net prize. Needs just as much committment over two round but its recognised the net prize is a separate event in its own right

Club Champs is really the Cat 1 guys domain. The handicap cup at our place is held simultaneously and has to be qualified for and from my first experience of it this year is severly contested and sought after to qualify for. Can't wait to try and get back in it next year.

I think it's fair to say at our place, and this isn't in any way playing down the overall club champions achievement, there is more interest in the Handicap (Net) championship. Because that's what 90-95% of the club are actually competing for.
We probably only have about 10 guys truly competing for the gross, but well over 100 for the net.
I'd love one day to have a chance at the gross comp, but in reality that is a long way off.
