What does Paul scholes need to do to pick up a card? Rosicky tackles from behind, doesn't get the ball, yellow card. Scholes the same, zip. Well scholes never could tackle, so he gets away with it.
Arsenal free kick. Scholes kicks the ball away. This is a yellow card. Every time. But it's scholes, so no, it isn't.
Can't argue with the result, but some continuity in the refereeing might be nice. not sure why rvp got a yellow, or song, or rosicky (if scholes didn't ), or Ramsay.
Not sure why wenger took oxcart chamberpot off either. The one player who was a handful, and he gets subbed for arshavin. Might as well have taken oc off, and not put anyone on. Oc is 18. If you can't last 90 minutes at 18, you never will.

Got back in from my foursomes match, in time for lunch and a beer in the clubhouse, and watch the second half of the City v Spurs game. What a cracking second half. We have a lot more Spurs supporters in the Club than I first realised, but the late penalty shut them up.
