Hi all
I know this has been done before but there has been alot of new members since so I thought it would be interesting to know what your preferred post or pre round food/drink is.

If I'm playing early (preferred) pre round, bowl of porridge followed by cuppa tea.

Always carry bananas for mid round

post round, all day breakfast washed down with an orange and lemonade, lovely.

what is your favorite tipple/foodie?

Good me:

A bowl of sultana bran before, fruit and water for the way round and a diet coke in the bar before home to dinner.

Bad me (usual me):

Bacon roll and a coffee, couple of toffee crisps on the way round, Burger King on the way home (and then dinner )

Handicap going down, waist size going up :(

Just coffee before hand

Carry a Powerade (only none fizzy drink in the pro shop) and a bottle of water for the round.

Bacon and sausage bap and a cup of tea at the half way house.

Pint of Lime and Soda and a Bacon and Brie baguette in the club after.

High fibre museli and strong coffee for breakfast.
Banana and a water mid round.
Something spicy at home afterwards, just about everything I eat includes homegrown chillis and lashings of chilli sauce. I also grow all my own fruit and veg, so generally eat ver healthily.

Regular sat/sun outing standard breakfast--cereal, tea and toast. On course refreshment 2 bananas and water.
After golf usually coffe with my brother--loser pays.

Monthly society--breakfast with a few of the lads--full irish. Dinner and prizegiving follows the outing.

Coffee and Shreddies for brekkie

Orange drinks on the way round

Bitter shandy and a bacon+sausage baguette with chips for afters.

Luvly

3 donuts 'n' half a packet of choccy bickies, 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, black pudding 2 slices fried bread, beans,tomato,mushrooms,3 hash browns mug of tea 5 sugars, for breaky. 2 kingsize mars bars on the 4th twix on the 6th, 2 bananas on the 9th for the vitimins and potassium. Half a bakewell tart on the 13th, double decker or starbar on the 15th and if in season 2 cream eggs on the 18th tee. Back in the club house I'm usually ready for a diet coke before home. :D

If I could it would be porridge and banana pre round and normally a sausage toastie afterwards with a pint of lager!

Other than breakfast at home(serials or porridge), or pre organised sausage/bacon sarnie before play, I try to avoid drinks and food before play generaly. Nothing worse than a bit of indigestion or over-indulging in booze before a round, though after a round (depending on time of day) I love sausage sarnies or a good meal and a few drinks if Im not driving.
