Posh towel or beer towel

The only problem with towels is that they do get very grubby, very quickly and this can have a detrimental effect on the overall look of your golf bag.

I therefore propose that all towels should be muddy brown in colour with little green bits therefore avoiding the aforementioned problem

You obviously do not use the correct available towels (cheap skate) on the current market and if you do, you obviously need a refresher course on how to use them :p

My Mizuno "triple fold" towel always looks in pristine condition because you clean your mucky balls on its inside thus leaving the blue & branding perfectly clean & visible :smirk:

Forgot to ask....
Are any of you embracing the latest micro fibre technology ?

Picked up a massive microfibre towel while in the USA. For $15, it was a steal. Wipes mud, grass you name it off the clubs easily. If it's raining, hide it under the brolly and use to wipe hands etc down to keep it dry.

After a month, stick it in the wash and it's all squeaky clean again.

I git fitted last year but have improved so got a gamr iprovers bag with a different towel clip on the advice of a lpcal pro. Now the towel no longer fits so I need a new one.

Im starting to think the whole custom fit thing is just a way for pros to make more money from me.

I follow the aimpoint method to clean my ball with my custom fit fully adjustable lofted up towel

But use the linear method to clean my clubs with it

Posh towel... I have a Ping G25, Nike and TM towel.

Clipped onto bag with a posh towel clip.

It may seem like I have a lot of towels but they are not much more than a packet of fags these days and that's the way I always look at anything I buy as I'm a non smoker.

After a whole season of getting very angry and frustrated with my golf and my wife fed up as I came home mental yet again, she found something called a sanity towel  Comes in packs and when it rains it expands to absorb more moisture.

I feel so much calmer with my ever expanding aid on my bag. I can also run cycle and swim better too.

Did you find that these mood swings followed a regular cycle or were you random...

I have 6 towels. I always carry 2. 1 in the bag for my hands and 1 clipped to my bag for my club and balls. I wasnt fitted for any of them although my Ping g25 towel was given to me by Ping for supplying my new irons with wonky grips to say sorry.

I have a lovely Mizuno staff towel that I drape over the top of my bag as I play.

It's huge.

Doubles as a rain cover for light showers too :D

Most versatile towel I've ever owned

Not sure i would pay for one, but i've a Srixon and Mizuno Tour towels, both prizes.

I tend t stuff it trough the handle of my tour bag.

I have a Ping tri-fold towel, however it's probably in worse condition than a beer towel now. Bought a new Cobra one a year ago....god knows why I got the white one....it's grim now and doesn't get used at all, not to mention it got caught in my trolley wheel and ripped. Also have a small Odyssey "putter towel" which I have a clip on and hang from my belt on wet days so I have something to wipe my ball with to save me from walking back to my bag. Also good for drying hands.

Nothing but a Guinness towel for a real man golfer..

... I think the pro threw it in when i went to get a V-easy..

Dare I use the word interesting!... wonder why all putter head covers don't have a 'D' ring attached for a small facecloth size towel to hang off that means a player would then usually have something to clean the ball on the putting green instead of returning to bag/trolly

Never mind your tour named towels, this is what you need :)

Can you still play the piano too ? ... :)
