So all you heathens can stop reading now.

Just wanted to add a tad of culture to the forum, so I thought I'd talk about art.

Went on a weekend trip to Paris last year with HID and spent some time wandering around all the street artists etc.

There was an easel there with some work for someone calling himself Serafedino

Saw this guy's work, and I think it's brilliant.

For someone just plying his trade in the backstreets of paris I thought I'd just buy a piece or two, for a few quid, just to take home.

It came as a bit of a shock to find out he sells at $5000 ++ per piece.

Not quite my market, I'm afraid.

Still love it, though.

note the subtle tones and shading, also the lifelike expressions on the canines faces, real atmosphere and the feeling of wanting to win shines through. A true masterpiece.

Maybe I'm colour blind but did anyone else take a few seconds before seeing the man playing a saxophone in the picture, was just a collage of colour for a few seconds when I saw it first. Looking at it again I don't know why that happened. :D

Reminds me of Gustav Klimdt, his style with all the colour and pattern. Can see the Sax player and quite like it.

I told you, he's good this guy.

See it in the flesh, with all the colours and textures, and if you had the odd $5K spare, I bet you'd be tempted

I saw Betty Rubble, Tin Tin from Thunderbirds, Helena Bonham Carter and the blue bird from Avatar having a sex romp with Smiffy

Now I know how you got your "tennis" elbow. ;) ;)

You need some serious help mate. :D :D
