Garstang is okay as others have said. It doesn't have lots of thick rough so you shouldn't be ball hunting for too long if a little wayward.

The suggestion for Lancaster was a good one - well worth a look there too I'd say.

I have just Played Duxbury in chorley today. Really nicely laid out course with some nice holes. It's a pay and play so might be worth a look for your Saturday round. People will say that it gets a bit wet, but it was bucketing down today and apart from some sizeable puddles, it handled it pretty well.

Stanley Park at this time of the year is a BIG NO NO imo.

Another course to throw into the mix is Fairhaven. Right next door to Royal Lytham.

Stanley park anytime when it's not been baking hot is pretty pointless...sure the green keepers only work in good weather
