|had to play a shot from 180 yards yesterday and the ball was down hill in a hollow the size of a dustbin lid with my feet above on flat ground.
I ended up hitting it left and losing the ball. My alignment was correct but I think the heel caught in the ground and the toe spun over making the club face left. How should I play a shot like this

The best way to play this shot is to aim a little left, take one more club and sink at the knees. Try not to lean forward or down, just sink at the knees. Hold the grip at the top and try and keep you height. dont lean into the shot or stand up.
