playing in glasses

I wear glasses for distance and reading

Wear one day contacts one for distance other for reading generally at weekends and going out for meals etc - a compromise but great for golf, all round perifical vision is much better

Normally wear glasses but have taken to wearing my contacts recently for golf. As others have said, struggled when it was too wet or too hot.

FIrst time you try and put in contacts it can take hours. But it gets easier, honestly.

Problem I found with my first set of varifocals from ASDA was the lenses were rubbish. Ok for general reading but golf, a complete and utter waste of time.
when I was measured for the two pair I have now, I specifically mentioned golf and the difference between looking at a putt at my toes, and leathering it a good forum distance 200yd in these glass is fantastic.
if your glasses were made before you considered putting golf into the equation then they may well not be ideal.

I use a company called "Rapid Eye Wear" Yhey do prescription lenses, really light and comfortable, plus you can get a range of tints to go over the prescription lenses. Give em a google and see what you think. I wear them all the time for golf with the green polarised lenses.
