Has this happened to anyone? played yesterday after a heavy session on fri night, 1st drive -BANG 270 yds up middle, pitch to green simple par.....hmm, still a bit tipsy...maybe! decent front nine of 4 over, then around the turn must have sobered up, as back in a HORRENDOUS 47 including two 6's and two 7's! sound familiar??

My specialist subject!!! I played 4 rounds last summer (longest day challenge) from getting in at 2:30am after a shed full of booze and a dodgy takeaway to be picked up by Martin (Homer) at 4:00 to tee off at 4:30am. I like hangover Golf and usually play better because of it. It slows down my swing and I take my time over putts.

(Just posted this in a few posts above) From all the hangover post you would think there was some big sporting event last night worth watching??

I can often play quite good golf (by my standards) until I sober up. It just embarrassing when one nearly falls over teeing the ball up or picking it out of the hole

A 'friend' of mine once had an increadibly embarrasing time.

I ( Sorry he ) has always been a drinker but never bothered with other forms of relaxing.

Then at a party some Moroccan resin was being sampled. Now I, not being a smoker, have never bothered with this stuff, but someone cut me a slice which I then swallowed whole.

With no effect - what a waste of money this stuff is.

Until it hit about an hour or so later. Cue feeling very strange at 3.00am. And it was still working at 8.00 am the next morning, on the first tee.

Couldn't hit a ball. But giggled a lot.

Give me alcohol any day - at least the effects are consistant.
