Play Left Handed, putt right handed

I play right handed and putted right handed until I got the yips some 20 years ago and moved to putting left handed. I use a normal interlock grip, right hand below left with a la Jack Nicklaus, knuckle of left hand immediately behind the grip on line of putt. Incidentally, 10p in the kitty for every putt left short has dramatic results!

Ah, I thought that might be it. So basically the same as standard left-handed grip, you just swing the putter backwards, so your strong arm is leading it rather than pushing. It actually makes sense.

I think I could get around right handed. Definitely not as long right handed, would probably be less in trouble playing right handed!

That's a good point. He'd have to chip with just the one club all the time, otherwise he's restricting how many full shot clubs he can have in the bag.

That’s a good point, whilst I didn’t really notice at the time,in hindsight it did look like the one club being used for all his chips from wherever he chipped.
