Doesnt make them round.
Given that gravity attracts equally in all directions, it tends to make things collect uniformly around the centre of mass.

Your question was entirely answered because of gravity to which you gave a strange reply about friction and some weird notion of a lack of gravity in space. You were being obtuse.
