Ping!

I'm still holding strong. I'm more worried I'll be ordering Sushi by Sunday night after trying all the new Mizzy ranges. The silly thing is even as a confessed TM gear whore I'm not at all excited about the new 2.0 burners and just think they've done a Wilson and gone super silly on the lofts. It'll be interesting to try them (hoping their demo model is coming tomorrow morning) but I can't get overly enthused

Ya Homer,
I find this loft thing a bit peculiar to be honest.....I dont really know any different though.....
Started with Wilson Di7's.....44 deg PW
Now playing Cobra S2's ....... 43 deg PW... :D

Iv had to buy a gap wedge 49 deg to sit between my SW and PW....

I really don't understand why you try so many sets of clubs out Homer? I bet your local driving range think "oh no!" when they see you arriving.

Don't mind the stick but try and be accurate. Its not a driving range its a private members club that HID works at. They are fitters for Ping, TM and Mizzy. Apart from being interested to see if all that glitters really is gold I am doing some feedback for the owner on a number of things too.

Funny that. I gave the owner some feedback on the condition of the course as I gave up membership because of the poor and variable conditions and the poor value of the membership subscription and he didn't accept it very well. Maybe he is now more keen to accept feedback. Although I rather doubt it.

So for anything non Ping, TM and Mizzy you use AG?
Are they after feedback too Martin?

:D :D :D

Whats wrong with your Itsy bitsy???

Nothing really Nikki!
More that im finding it a little distracting at address at times because of all the stuff going on with the top of it....
I have to say that since i switched the grip for one of the thick ones its been dynamite on long putts.....Distance control is great.....
The Ping Redwood was more of a impulse buy than anything.....My dad uses one of the very 1st ansers so if i dont get on with it it'll find its way in to his bag i think. ;)

:D :D :D

I use AG a lot because a) I know the store manager anyway so it's alway easy to get to use the gear b) because it has a range so I can actually see the shots as opposed to a bay in the shop and c) they tend to have a bigger range

Ethan,
Sadly the owner is still the same blunt Yorkshireman you knew so well. However he has some big plans for the place including the range area and as HID already works there it pays (and might help her career too) to try and keep him onside and so if I can help with my views on gear then I will.
