Hi all,

My best mate is looking to buy a full Ping bag of clubs from wedge to driver, he would like to go localish to us,Herts or Bucks. He phoned AG in MK and of course they told him they had Trackman and the like, they did leave off the fact that its an indoor bay and a simulator not a Trackman.

Any sugestions of somewhere that would be good around us?

Thanks alot

Al

?? Redbourne GC not sure I think that they used too, best to call them.

Seriously, if you are going to spend that sort of money - go to Gainsborough.

They obviously have all the gear but more importantly, know what they are doing.

I agree with this too and it is what I have advised him but I was interested to know if there was any other options that were as good.

Is it work going to Gainsborough even if you have a high handicap or no handicap yet? What is on offer regarding club fitting on Demo days?

Depends how repeatable your swing is matey really. Do you normally hit a consistant ball whether this be a Draw/Fade etc. What sort of scores are you carding? If you go to a Demo day at a GC then there is normally a chap there that works in the Tour van who is able to give feedback on Trackman and all the latest shiny toys to hit.

Just as an aside and sorry to go slightly off topic OP, but if the trackman is indoors hitting into a net doesnt that defeat the point of trackman as it has nothing to track, it would just be calculateman

We have the same set up as well at college which we use when the weather is bad or the dark nights are here. It is suprisingly accurate to be fair, most of my stats came out very similar to what I know to be correct out on the course. However no substitute for hitting balls outside and being able to see the flight etc like you can at Gainsborough and at Demo days.

There is an indoor and an outdoor Trackman system.
