Thanks for the feedback on the original post, some mixed experience's and i guess it all boils down to personal preference and what people expect to get ouf of C/F.
Difficult thing with looking at new clubs is always the vast amount of choice out there. I've always used Mizuno but don't particularly like their latest products - Comp EZ's were my personal favourites.
In response to murphthemog's comments about 'Why Ping?' I like the idea of the design of the i15's in that they are progressive clubs being more forgiving in the long irons and more comact in the short irons - reminds me of the design of the Maxfli A10's!! That to me is a benefit over my MP60's if your having a bad day
In respect of other brands - I don't particular like a lot of what Callaway has to offer, Titleist are superb clubs but do they justify the extra cost over other brands (let me know if they do!!), Nike i'm not overly keen on, same with Cobra so choice and quality start to reduce from there. Aside from the above, there's only really the Taylormade TP's i like at the moment and there could be a bargain to be had with the release of the R9 TP's - so will have to give them a go as well.
Will go with an open mind to the C/F session and am looking forward to the experience - even if it rules Ping out of the running!
