Some of you may remember the GM Ping G20 fitting experience that myself and Sev were lucky enough to win around 8 months ago (?). Anyway its been a while since I have posted but have enjoyed reading the banter etc on the forum in the meantime.
At the time of winning I had never been fitted and if honest was quite sceptical about the whole process, in fact I was convinced that I was a regular of the shelf guy and at a HC of 16 it didn`t really matter.
10 months on and I have dropped from 16 to 11 with the new clubs. Haven`t had a lesson since taking collection of the new bats and indeed only had 3 lessons prior to that in 3 years.
Does fitting have an impact on your ability? I would say from my experience definately.
