Am I the only one in golf who thinks companies like Ping are ripping the ordinary golfer off. Every month that ends in a Y has a new Ping range launched thus de-valuing the existing ranges. I think the Rapture Irons are identical to the G5 irons except ... 150 quid dearer. And everyone says the G5 driver is awsome.

Remember this all you Ping lovers, Ping must sell 30,000 sets of these bad boys JUST TO PAY DIMARCO HIS WAGES !!!!!

Good point Madandra. It's an endless rollercoaster of new models etc that do devalue the existing ranges and are quite frequently not any better. Unfortunately the whole world is like this now.

Agree with you - I just can't imagine them coming up with something better than the G5 driver so quickly. Is all about money at the end of the day, and let's face it, there are many money people out there that will buy them.

Hi there' I use the G5 driver and a G2 3 wood I find they work very well together. I also have the s59 irons My handicap came down from 5 - 2 in the year and a half since I bought them Keep up the good work Ping I might make 1 or scratch soon. I look forward to trying out the G10.

Totally agree with the comments above, although you can’t blame the Golf Companies for continually bringing out new ranges. We all know that golfers are gullible enough to be sucked in by the sales hype that the newly released clubs will be straighter than the last set and will instantly transform your game. It’s garbage.

A golf club is only as good as the chump on the end of it and no amount of money thrown in a golf companies direction will change that.

IMHO the best way to improve your game is good old fashioned lessons and plenty of practise.

How long did Lee Westwood use his old irons ?????? It was at least 15 years. I think golf clubs are like cars, you get one every now and then that is like the Jaguar E-Type that will be there forever.

I will sit on my thumbs and watch the price come falling down in 6 months and if I like it I will pay half the price.

Isn´t it also funny that the guys on the first tee with everything Ping, Taylormade or Callaway cant hit a cow on the arse with a spade. It makes me laugh.
