pimp my putter

Must be a guy thing.....;)

Does look good though.... shiney! :)

I'm a guy and haven't got a clue what's going on or what inspired Roots to wile away his hours polishing his head. I mean what possible satisfaction can he be deriving from giving it a regular buffing? He must spend hours every night rubbing it to get it that shiney. If it was me I'd rather have it coated in the white stuff...

Its as finished as its gonna get!! well apart from the writing infills, not decided on colour yet...

Awesome! Great job!

What's on your mind for infill colour? Got to be black hasn't it? Maybe maroon?

That is as shiny as a shiny, shiny, glinty, mirror like, super shiny pair of shoe shined, shiny patent shoes ;)

Hope you've got some Ray Charles sunglasses to protect your retina from the super glint your likely to get on a sunny day.

as for infill perhaps you should use some abrasive material to get rid of the black and then polish it up nice and shiny. Then you could try and get it a gold colour and pretend it was a gift from TM for winning a major (so it should really be a Ping) ;)

Looks quality,& you've got a unique putter. What grip is it rocking?

It's got a 2-thumbs the daddy on its which is black and white.

Re the infill colour, I was toying with red, the black that is currently there is recent, just some BMW touch up paint I had in the garage.. I might strip that out and leave plain silver now. Hmmmmm.

Just use acetone (nail polish remover) and paper kitchen towels or cotton buds to rid the infill, dead easy to do (recently pimped my Scotty). Paint wise, don't bother with regular acrylic paints, despite them drying hard and waterproof, they don't bind to the metal well and come off when wet - learned this the hard way. Have found that these paints are pretty good though http://www.plasti-kote.co.uk/Product/pcode---4384/pccode---6751.

So in short... Get a gold Ping and start again!! :D

Looks to me like you unpimped your putter. not a fan of white golf clubs - a trendy fad just like white cars and OK if you can afford to replace it whwn it's 2yrs old and it becomes very untrendy and naff,

With it being so shiney I'd be tempted to lend it to one of the younger ladies at your club and let her have a go with it on the putting green. In the right light and with the right angle, Bingo! Nice job.
