Just wondering who has access to your phone in your family , was in a conversation and this came up , i was a bit shocked to hear some of the guys saying no one goes near my phone except me , when i asked why i got all sheepish answers .

Theres a pin to unlock mine but all the family know it , free calls & texts so they use it more than me in the evening.. they have the same just never top up ..

Is your phone that important to you ? if so why ?

Both me and my wife have access to each other's phones and normally just pick up which ever is closer

Her mum and sister both know my key code if they need to use it

No reason why they can't use it

Yep thats the camp im in aswell Phil , i was taken aback when i heard others were different , age thing maybe ? .. mind you id say the youngest in the group was mid 30's

my iPhone iPad and Macbook are password/code protected but the boss knows the code/password to all of them I don't have anything to hide and I have masses of minutes, unlimited texts and loads of data, she doesn't need to use 'my' stuff but if she wants to it's there!

open access to all, even my 2 year old knows the code for my phone and ipad. have tons of games on both to keep them amused when required. (also me when on the train!)

Think it depends how you use the phone. I have banking, betting, email, facebook etc. Also wouldn't like to think kids were browsing through Mum and Dad's text messages tbh, not because there's anything unsavoury or anything to hide......just that they are private and not for a wider audience! No kids at home so not an issue but if we did have my phone certainly wouldn't be a free for all.

My wife knows my pin and will sometimes use my phone, but it's very rare.

She doesn't know about my secret phone though. I use that to arrange dates with other women without her knowledge.

My wife lets me use her phone with the safe knowledge that I would never remember her pin no.
{I do, but would never dream of using/looking at it except in an emergency.]
She uses my phone more than I do.

My wife and I pretty much keep out phones private but not out of intention. We both have phones, tablets etc and they are all password protected for a bit of extra security but not to keep it from each other. Neither of us would have any issue using the others phone etc but there really is no need to.

As above.

If needed would happily share but that need has rarely, if ever, arisen. Don't bother with pin no's etc; so if there were any secrets they would be difficult to conceal.

I have my phone, she has her 3. Mine isn't pin locked. Hers are, but I know the pin. I don't use her phones, she doesn't use mine. Nothing to hide, we just have plenty of phones between us. Chuck in ipads, laptops, etc, we are a bit over tech'ed.

We have a landline which we both use. HID has a 12 year old Nokia which is never switched on, whilst my mobile is usually found in one or other of the cars. I don't get the need to be in constant contact with the rest of the world.
