At least he got see our flag that the lads all weighed in for 💙
Our lads had this made when it was announced he had Alzheimer’s, as there was nothing at the club to recognise him or his contribution, he was really emotional when he saw it, as was his wife Hilary.

Watching Peter Bonetti when I was younger got me interested in playing in goal.
Used to love it. Played to quite a high standard too.
Remember once a few of the lads started calling me "The Cat".
Asked them if it was because I reminded them of the Chelsea star, they admitted it was because I gave our defence kittens.....

What standard did you play at ?

For me I had a few games in goal for Corinthian Casuals when I was 20.
