Pet insurance

My friend doesn't use a pet insurance company instead he puts money aside each month into a separate doggy account and uses that if required. He has done this for over 20 years and will be able to withdraw a significant amount as although he has used it a few times with different dogs it is, in his opinion better value.

He doesn't need to worry about pre existing conditions etc. Not sure how much he puts aside but maybe worth looking at.

No wonder the cost of their Lambrusco goes up and up. Suppose I have been lucky. We have only ever had working Labradors tho; aren't bulldogs notorious for congenital health problems?

Yes they are although Arnold was an 'old time'(see my avatar), their conformation/bone structure is generally much better, he was just unlucky with the ACL's, naughty when he eat the stones and unlucky to get cancer. Still miss the old boy
